Friday, October 18th

We all have intuitions. People have impressions, they have premonitions, they have dreams—these “whispers from God” are our guides through the obstacle-course of life. Stephen G. Post paid attention to these whispers. His remarkable journey demonstrates the magic waiting for all of us if only we open our eyes and our hearts and tap into the Infinite Mind.

Join Post for an evening of storytelling and sharing of your unique experiences of synchronicities and messages from the Divine and discover that we are all connected to nature, to God and to one another through an infinite Mind, and that the path to limitless love will find us and guide us if we are listening closely!

Post was the perfect child and A student until he took off in the family car, compelled by a persistent vision, his “blue angel dream. Crossing American on Route 80, his unlikely adventure culminates in an astounding encounter that set the stage for the rest of his life, a path connected by synchronicities which Post describes as proof of humanity’s fundamental oneness. God and Love on Route 80 touches on the essential meaning of life, the Infinite Mind we are all part of and the messages we may miss unless we pay close attention.

Post’s marriage of medicine and philosophy, grounded in thirty years of research, has inspired thousands to deepen their own happiness, health, and success by lifting up the people around them. In his latest book, God and Love on Route 80: The Hidden Mystery of Human Connectedness Post brings his positive and powerful psychological message to readers via a gripping account of his own transformative experiences.

God and Love on Route 80 is more than an enchanting, beautiful book; it indicates the kind of awareness required if we are to survive the challenges we face as a species – the awareness of our connectivity and unity with all else, and the knowledge that our world is sacred, holy, and worth saving.”
—Larry Dossey, bestselling author of One Mind: How Our Individual Mind Is Part of a Greater Consciousness and Why It Matters

“In this highly readable and deeply profound book, Post shares his journey to that which is whole,  holy, and healed in all of us.”
—Deepak Chopra, bestselling author of Synchrodestiny: Harnessing the Infinite Power of Coincidence to Create Miracles

“It takes a large and open heart to take in the invitation to faith of this vocation story. I’m more alive and alert now for having read it.”
—Sister Helen Prejean, author of Dead Man Walking and River of Fire: My Spiritual Journey

Stephen G. Post, PhD, is the bestselling author of Why Good Things Happen to Good People: How to Live a Longer, Happier, Healthier Life by the Simple Act of Giving, the founding director of the Institute for Research on Unlimited Love, and the founding director of the Center for Medical Humanities, Compassionate Care, and Bioethics at Stony Brook University in New York. A leader in medicine, research and religion, Dr. Post’s latest book is a meditation on the meaning of life and the importance of spirituality.

“My humanity is bound up with yours, for we can only be human together.”
      — Desmond Tutu

When we contribute to lives of others by kindness and helping, we discover happiness and resilience. Each one of us is a healer when we are kind and helpful to others, and especially to those who are suffering due to illness, loss, disappointment, humiliation, rejection, or a thousand other things. Compassion is active kindness in response to suffering, and it always heals at so many levels.

We need true friends who encourage us to be helpful to everyone. We need role-models who pass the torch of love for all humanity and lead by example. We need to fill our minds with the stories of people who inspire goodness and compassion for everyone, usually one person at a time. We are all needed NOW!

In this workshop Dr. Stephen G. Post will explore such topics as:

  • Listening to the Whispers of God, the Universe or whatever name you give the Divine,
  • Learning to recognize signs and synchronicities that can guide your life,
  • How to raise a kind child,
  • The link between doing good and living a longer, healthier and happier life,
  • Helping the “deeply forgetful,” emphasizing practical decisions and how we can all better notice the expressions of continuing self-identity in our loved ones with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia.
