write your mothers story 2018_575

Part writing exercise, part opportunity to discover and share family stories, this 4-week workshop will deepen your understanding of what your mother lived through and the legacy you gained from her. Just in time for Mother’s Day.

Unity member Marilyn Norry created the project My Mother’s Story in 2004 as a way to make all memoir and biographical writing easy and entertaining, and to record and save women’s history before it is forgotten. Stories written following her writing template have been published in two books, and formed the basis of nine theatrical events, two of which were performed at Unity of Vancouver. The non-profit society Mothership Stories maintains an online Archive where mother stories from around the world are shared.

Writing this story will benefit you, your family and the world.
