While one of Unity’s founding principles is that we are all a unique expression of God created with sacred worth, we also believe that awareness of this principle is not enough.

Belief and action are both necessary to create a world where all people are treated fairly and equally.

Because of this, Unity has made diversity, equity, and inclusion a priority over the years as we work towards realizing these principles within our spiritual community.

Land Acknowledgment

Unity of Vancouver recognizes that our work takes place on the unceded territories Coast Salish peoples–Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), Stó:lō and Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) and xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) Nations. We are thankful for their stewardship of the land for time immemorial.

Wheelchair Accessibility

Unity of Vancouver is also a (mostly) wheelchair-accessible facility (as the entrance to the building is, but the washrooms are not).
